Ballinalacken Castle Country House was acquired by the O'Callaghan family in 1938 and is still run by the same family.The property is located in a rural area but only 2.5 miles from doolin.It has a vast history and commands great views of the cliffs of moher ,Aran Islands,Galway Bay,Connemara mountains

The Ballinalacken Castle Country House Hotel is on the West Coast of Ireland, 4 miles from the spa town of Lisdoonvarna and 3 miles from the village of Doolin.

The house was built in 1840 and is now a family-run hotel. It mixes original charm with modern comforts.

The large en suite rooms are traditionally decorated. Some have an ocean view, antique furnishings, four-poster beds, baths and real fires.
